Jiquilisco

Jiquilisco is located approximately 1.5 hours east of the Sunzal / Playa El Tunco area by road and within one hour of Punta Las Flores and Punta Mango in the Wild East. This is one of 1500 internationally protected ecosystems (United Nations) and consists of a 25-mile long peninsula and a multitude of small islands including Cumichin, Espiritu Santo, Madresal, Tortuga, San Dionisio, San Sebastion, Samura.
With two major outlets to the Pacific Ocean, it's perfect for deep sea fishing. The entire bay is loaded with mangroves and abundant wildlife such as turtles and birds.
It's definitely a must for those staying in Las Flores / Punta Mango, since it is so near and there isn't much to do in Las Flores.
