Suchitoto Day Trip

The name Suchitoto in the Salvadoran indigenous language Nahautl means "Place of birds and flowers." Suchitoto is a city of culture and history , a colonial town located on the shore of Lake Suchitl�n.  You will find beautiful waterfalls, panoramic views, museums and art galleries, local traditions, great restaurants, night life, and an attractive weekend visit.
Suchitoto is a great place to go on the weekends when the beach scene gets hectic and you are exhausted from surfing!
Every Sunday there is a great handcraft and food fair called "Asi es mi tierra" (this is my country) and would be a great activity for anybody on a surf trip in El Salvador. It is 2 hours from the coast so it would be best to get an early morning surf and then take off for Suchitoto
