Every coast has its queen, and ours is undoubtedly Punta Roca. “La Punta” is arguably the best point break in all of Central America. This wave is long and hollow (300 yards on a set wave) and breaks just like Jeffreys Bay in South Africa (minus the cold water and the sharks). We recommend booties for people with sensitive feet and not used to doing the rock dance on the way in and out of the lineup. Pro Tip? If it’s your first time surfing here, come with a local guide. This is a great place to show up with a friend. Bring a couple dollars with you for ice old drinks and fresh coconut water near the parking lot.
